My ipos model is 2nd generation 2gb ipod, when i was listning songs suddenly it turned off and when i tried to charge it, there was no responce from it and also my pc. please tell me what should i do ????????????

After you left it to charge for at least 30 minutes, did you try and reset it?

but my dear when i try to charge it, it is not charging...
It could still be charging, but just not showing any signs of charging. Leave it connected to an external power source anyways.

i had already tried this and had left it in charging position for last one hour, but still it is not playing or not charging...

Sorry. That was not apparent from your original post.
So you tried the reset mention above? Is the Shuffle plugged into a USB port on your PC/Mac or via a wall adapter? Maybe let it sit for a day or two and then try the reset again.
Otherwise, it could be a hardware issue, meaning you'll need to take or send the device in for service/repair/replacement.
