10.0.6 - it says Installed but it isn't

Hi,

I made the 10.0.5 - > 10.0.6 update from the App Store. Everything went normal, ok, no problem.

But when I Re Open Final Cut, it still say 10.0.5 and I can't see nothing new. It's exactly the same.

Back to App Store Updates Tab, I can see the Final Cut Version 10.0.6 and it says INSTALLED!

I rebooted the CPU but nothing happens...

Anyone can help with that?

Mac Pro, OS 10.7.5

Thank you,

Antonio Garcia

Do you have a second hard drive connected with another copy of FCP X?

If you need to update and you are not succeeding, you may need to:

1) move FCP X to trash and empty it

2) Go to the App Store and click on "Purchases". Download it again.

Thank you Luis,

The solution I found was primary, but workedx...

No need to reinstall...

I made a search in finder for "10.0.6" trying to find something related to the update... then...

the FCX icon appeared. :- 0 !!!

So I quit the program ("about" was saying 10.0.5 again...I Swear!) and then open again from the search results.

voilà! It's ok now, 10.0.6!! witch seems to be a great update!

anyway,

thank you!
