when i am connected to the same network as the stereo and i start playing music on my ipod the airplay icon does not show up, can anybody help me on this?

The icon only shows up if there is an AirPly device ready to accept streaming.
Thank you llaass, it just started showing up but I was connected to the same network before so I don't know what was wrong with it but now it works:)
