Alesis DM10X and Logic Studio 9...,

I just bought an Alesis DM10X Drum Kit, and I use Logic Studio 9 Full Version on my MacBook Pro 2012 13" laptop. Can anyone PLEASE give me DETAILED instructions on how to go about recording my drum kit with Logic?? Please?? I am using a USB cable to connect to my MacBook Pro, but no matter what I try, i can't get it to register any sound out of my MacBook using Logic? How specifically do I need to connect the two pieces so they will talk to each other and I can track drums?
