iphone5 on Ford sync

I have connected my iphone 5 with USB and sync. It plays only the songs I have purchased via itunes. Not ripped CD's or songs uploaded to iphone from itunes via subscription to i Match.

Will work on blue tooth audio but you have to use the phone to select songs etc and they don't display on LED

Thoughts?
