I have this same problem. I have my own domain (petri@vatilo.com). It was easy to get mails to come to iCloud with a service provider. Also it was easy to set up mail in iPhone to receive mails with petri@vatilo.com domain.

The problem is the sending. I get message server rejected the address... (I don't know exact phrasing in English as I get the message in Finnish).

If I can not get this sending issue solved, I am afraid I have to look for some other mail provider. I have used this domain for a long time, and do not want to change it. Also it is not acceptable to receive mail to @vatilo.com and send it from @icloud.com domain.

Does anyone have any ideas how to solve this in iPhone and in Mac?
