I have the 2nd Generation iPod nano. I plugged it into iTune and usually the iPod thing would show up, but this time nothing showed up. Not even the device under my computer. I'm using an iPhone 4 cable and my iTune is under 10.7.

What else have you tried so far in terms of troubleshooting this issue? Are you plugging the iPod into a high powered USB 2.0 port on the back of your PC? Have you tried a different USB cable?

What happens if you try to reset the device with it still connected to the PC?
