I have the 2nd Generation iPod nano. I plugged it into iTune and usually the iPod thing would show up, but this time nothing showed up. Not even the device under my computer. I'm using an iPhone 4 cable and my iTune is under 10.7. Is it because the version of my iTune is the latest? HELP!!

What else have you tried so far in terms of troubleshooting this issue? Are you plugging the iPod into a high powered USB 2.0 port on the back of your PC? Have you tried a different USB cable?

What happens if you try to reset the device with it still connected to the PC?
