is there a work around for the Mac so I can use MS Office products
I want to go completely Apple with all my devices, but need to find out about MS Office compatibility.

Office for Mac has been available for years. You can install it whenever you want. Apple's iWork software is faster, more robust, and better integrated with Mac-specific features like iCloud and sharing. If you need true-blue Office compatibility however, there is no substitute for Office 11.

What on earth are you talking about? Office for Mac has been around since 1998 and works fine.
