Flashing indicator Light

My Apple TV lost power and internet during Hurrican Sandy. Now everything is restored but the little white indicator light on the from of the AppleTV just flashes furiously. I sometime get some weird itunes looking icon indicating it wants me to plug something into it. How do I reset or is it toast.
