Does the iPod connect to other networks?
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
Reset the device, if the problem remain hard reset your device by putting it to DFU mode by
Holding down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. And if the problem still remains after these methods restore your ios device from itunes.
GODLAW, what are you saying? My previous reply included recommending a reset. Also, you said "putting it to DFU mode" but your instructions are for resetting the iPod.

Reset also means restart.
And why you say to me everytime when I post a comment that my previous comments consisted of that. These forums are for everyone and anyone can comment freely according to apple's terms and conditions.
You mention DFu mode just confuses the poster.
I will not repeat this mistake next time.
