Old mouse broke, How do I pair a new magic mouse?

The magic mouse that came with the desktop broke, so I bought a new 1, but now I have now idea how to pair it with the computer. I checked the page that explains how to do it but I got no other mouse to click here and there like it says, so what do I do?
