Hi,
What do you mean? Cloud status for purchased music is shown as "Purchased" and there is no need to match as the music is already available in the cloud.
Jim
Thanks Jim.
Pardon me for not stating the issue correclty. It's not the designation of match or purchased that is the problem, they are correclty identified. The problem is that most of my purchased tracks are not showing up in the cloud.
I have itunes match set on my iphone 5 and these tracks are not there. Everything else is, including lots of uploaded unmatchable tracks.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
The most logical question seems to be are you sure these purchased tracks are marked as "purchased." If you have not enabled the iCloud Status column in the iTunes browser you should just to make sure. Pull down View > View Options, select "icloud status" and click OK. Then you can tell what iTM actually thinks those tracks are.
Absolutely sure. iCloud Status column is in full view. Tracks are noted as purchased. My iphone 5 is the only other device I I have. It is set up correctly for iTunes Match. My purchased tracks do not show up.
I've tried updating iTunes Match and turning it off and on.
Are you sure the initial iTunes Match scan, match and upload process if finished? The most common reason tracks might not show up on devices is beats ice the initial scan of the library isn't done yet.
