managing contacts on iphone

on an iphone we have multiple email accounts setup to sync mail, calendar and contacts.

with this setup all contacts from all accounts shows up in the contact list, unless we uncheck certain contact lists from showing.

Is there a way to determine which address book a particular contact belongs, color code the contacts to a particular account, or in some way mark the contacts?

If we have the same contact in more than one email acccount/contact list, it shows twice, and that is not a problem, but if we update info for the contact, we have no real way to know which account the contact belongs, and really need that info.

Any settings or tips on managing the accounts or contact settings so we can identify which account a contact belongs?
