My ipad screen has turned to green!!!!

Its something with knocking the digitizer. I dont know if it gets loose or what when people drop it. Something with the hitting it on the back must connect it....I dont know haha

I had the same problem and start laughing while reading all the people hitting the iPad.... Then i tried and it worked..

Turn iPad on

Hold it at the bottom with both hands

Give a quick knock on the table with the upper right corner

Back to normal.. ;-)

The three knocks thing really helped! It didn't work the first few times, but after I game it a good slap with my palm, it was good as new! 🙂

We sitting here reading these posts...I am laughing so hard as my husband taps the back, taps the left corner and Shazam! It worked...he is now reading his newspaper and eating breakfast happily! Technology at its finest!

Though my green screen of death is finally gone, I back hand my pad at least twice a day just to keep it in shape!😀

i find that if i place my device carefully underneath my cars rear tire and back up over the iPad several times back and forth it solves the issue and any future issues. I think because the car is a Prius it some how intuitively knows via Siri, that both device and car are electronic and designed to co habitat.

So beware Surface and Google users...Apple is still waaayyyy ahead of the game!!!!

I try to power off knock the back of the ipad few time and power on the ipad, didn't work for the frist time!! Try power off and knock it again, power it on, I can't belive it work for me for the 2nd try!! Thank you!!

I thought this was a joke, but it worked! 3 smacks and display is back to normal.

The hard slap on the back worked for me too. It's magic!

I thought for certain this "hit it" solution was a joke. I dropped it on purpose so that it landed flat on it's back from a height of 2 feet or so... Bloody **** it actually worked! Green screen gone!
