MacBook Air and MacBook Pro Update 2.0

A new update was released today for june 2012 macbook pro'ss/air's. Is anyone else hoping for gaming improvements/improved nvidia drivers? I just updated but havent had a chance to test anything yet. I would also be interested in seeing if battery life improved at all.

Thanks - A good idea to restore from Time Machine - Unfortunately I do not have one. I have tried creating a fresh VM - This has similar issues. I will try another OS (Win XP) and also a reinstall of Fusion.

Arif,

I cannot foresee that a re-install of VMfusion will rectify your problems, It must be on the virtual machine level and if creating a fresh VM has the same problem then only a rollback could test the theory that the update broke the VM.

PS: After applying the 2.0 update by parallels Windows 7 VM functions normally and has received no improvement in the graphics performance inside the VM.

I just did the update to 2.0. Well to my surprise my USB 3 devices are slower now. One of my USB 3 external hard drives is the WD My Passport 1TB for Mac (portable). Before the update I averaged 117 MB/s read/write now I am only getting 70 MB/s for read/write acording to BlackMagic. I am running on a MacBook Pro Retina Display 2.6 i7 with 16 GB Ram. So it looks to me the improvement went down not up. Go figure.
