Q: My ipod software is not 2.0.1 its older and wont update on itunes is there a solution to this

My ipod classic is 2007 and and am unable to up[date it to the softeware 2.0.1 from itunes can Ido this any other way ?

    If you are using the latest version of iTunes (10.7 at the time of this writing) and there are no firmware updates for your iPod when you click the Check for Updates button from under its Summary tab, the firmware is up to date, meaning you likely have an older iPod model.
