I have not yet upgraded to iOS 6.0 but the upgrade showing is 6.01 can I upgrade directly from IOS 5 to 6.01? Are there problems with 6.01 with wifi?

You can upgrade to IOS 6.0.1 using WiFi if you are using IOS 5 and above.
