Can I sell Textbooks on the iBook Store?

Hi,

I'm a business and engineering student in a Canadain university. On I weekends I tutor my cousin overseas through webcam. I had a thought one of those weekends and I was wondering if it I possible to sell (or give for free) textbooks I created on the iBook Store (I think that's what it's called) with iBooks Author? I'm sorry if this is a stupid question but in Canada it seems Apple doesn't allow us to buy textbooks so I can't really check. I'm also not sure that I could even put them on the iBook Store if I can't buy them in the first place.

....Side question: Can iTextbooks be integrated with apps like iTunes U, Reminder, Calender, etc?
