I am having trouble downloading rented movies.

Help $$$ going down the drain.

I am having trouble downloading rented movies. It tells me it is going to take 150 hours to download a 1gig movie. I am using a macbook pro. My internet is hight speed broadband and is working fine. Any ideas how to fix this problem? this has happened twice now.
