My Airport Extreme LED is amber and no matter how many times I try and hard reset it, nothing happens. Can't reset it, can't see it in the Utilities. Any advise?

After you "Hard Reset" the AirPort Extreme by holding in the reset button for 9-10 seconds and then releasing.....

And after allowing a full minute for the Extreme to restart to a slow blinking amber light.....

Please list each individual step that you are performing....and....what happens after each step.
