Several Hours for a 5 minute clip

Hey guys,

So I'm going to see if I can get some input as to any possible workflow tweaks or configurations I should make to cut down on this a fair bit.

Specs:

User uploaded file

I'm picking up an extra 4 sticks of ram for this machine, but for now this is it.

Input Files:

Work from Final Cut Pro and export a self contained MOV file, pro res 422(HQ)

Drop them into compressor And I put them out in 4 formats, all h.264 at 3000 KB/s 1500kb/S 900 KB/s and finally a mobile version

Compressor:

I have it setup as a quick start cluster, seems like everything in that regards is working (system resources are maxed out)

the videos are from 2-6 min long, and it seems to take atlest 6 hours to do this.

Most of the stuff We encoded is from DVD that we rip then digitize into a few formats. For some reason though anything we shoot is taking alot longer, to the point of dispair 😟

Any help would be much apprecaited
