Is it possible to set a proxy address for the Apple TV Ethernet connection?

I need to be able to set a proxy address for the Apple TV ethernet connection. I've created a profile using the Apple Configurator and have set the proxy address in the Global HTTP Proxy part, but when I go to prepare the Apple TV, I get a message part way through stating that supervision has failed.
