Event could not be created because of a server error

I realized that none of the calendar entires made on any of my iOS devices (iPad 3, iPhone 4S, iPhone 3GS, all on 6.0.1), sync to iCloud.com anymore. Same goes for iCal my two Macs (both 10.8.2). Subsequently of course, events created on any device are not propaged to the other devices. This seems to be this way since a couple of weeks.

When I try to make an entry directly on iCloud.com, after a couple of seconds, I get the following error: "Couldn't create "<<< Event name >>>". This event couln't be created because of a server error. Please try again." Goes without saying that repeating this does not change anything. This behaviour is completely reproducable on Safari and Chrome.

I should add that iCloud syncing for contacts works flawlessly, also when entering directly on iCloud.com. Funny enough, my wife had the very same issue on her account (a former family MobileMe account), but it went away by itself.

Any ideas?

I have the exact same problem on accounts for 5 seperate people, each having multiple computers, iphones and ipads that were all syncing and working fine until a few days ago. Now, no icloud entries can be made or changed on any device, although I have been able to delete calendars -- until now. Now I can't even delete calendars directly from the icloud.com site.

Unfortunately I've tried everything I can think of and have seen from past posts on icloud calendar problems (yes, there seem to have been a lot of this without anything from Apple), but nothing seems to fix it including restarting icloud calendars, deleting the calendars completely, resetting pram, updating all software, etc. This must be a server error and not a client error since entries can't even be made directly to the calendar web page on icloud. Apple needs to acknowledge there is a problem and fix their server.
