I've sucessfully transfered documents from my PC to my new MacPro via Migration assistant, which was easy. The documents are on my Mac, but how do I get them into Pages? I used Microsoft 2007 on the PC.

Pages should be capable of opening .doc and .docx documents. Make sure you have all updates applied for iWork (Pages, Numbers, Keynote). Open Pages and try opening one of your Word docs.
Thanks for the help, but I've dragged, dropped and done everything I can think of to get my documents into Pages, but they seem to ignore it. The only way I can even find the documents from my PC is as a sidebar on Finder. I can open each file in Finder, but there it ends. . . can't get them into Pages where I need them.
Strange. I've had friends send me MS Word docs and I've sent some to myself from work. When I launch Pages then do a File -> Open and navigate to where I saved the docs, they open within Pages.
