iTV refuses to "find" itunes on mac

Recently whenever I try to connect to "computers" from the iTV I get the unable to connect screen.

It has been working perfectly and there have been no recent updates.

The weirdest part is I can send content from the mac to the iTV?

Ive restarted every part of the process to no joy

any clues?

iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi, iOS 5.1.1

Likely the firewall on the computer block the appletv (not itv as that is a British tv station)

Yeah which is possible except i dont run a firewall and until yesterday it has worked for over 12 months in the same configuration!? (and you know apple want to call it iTV)
