Q: Apparantly I have a photo album in my ITunes Library but I can't locate it to delete it. It was transferred from my PC to my IPad when I first bought the IPad and I want to delete the album. Any ideas?

Itunes is not a photo management program.  There are no photos stored in itunes.

Please explain why you think this

I thought so because when Apple support helped me set up my new IPad a year ago, they had me transfer one photo file from my PC to my IPad - through ITunes as I recall. I thought he said that Apple was sort of a closed system and everything went through ITunes. And a friend mentioned that to move photos I would need to set up a separate ITunes account.

I do remember that I had to close Firefox and download everything through Internet Explorer because, as he said, Firefox files things in places that are difficult to access.

Also, when I've tried to delete the album according to IPad directions, I am told to click on "Edt" then the X to delete, abut when I touch "Edit" I get is "Done".

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Everything is synced through itunes.  It is not stored in itunes.  itunes is simply a counduit through which photos are synced.

"And a friend mentioned that to move photos I would need to set up a separate ITunes account."

This does not make sense.  Your itunes accoutn whould have no impact on your pics.

Still not sure what your question is.  Please explain what the issue is and what you are trying to accomplish.

You remove photos from iphone the same way you put them there.  the sync process.  Open itunes. Connect iphone. Go to the photo tab.  Select what you want to be on the iphone. Sync

Then as roaminggnome has said, with your iPad connected to iTunes, look on the device as shown:

    Capture14.PNG

and either choose another folder or simply turn off the tick box named Sync Photos from.

Thanks, I'm feeling pretty remedial, but I don't have a photo tab on my ITunes screen.
