I know it is a basic question, but want to use my itunes account thru windows xp to do so.
All of your contacts should be on your computer in whatever program that you have set up. Just sync them to the new one.
You can just sync the contacts to a contact manager on your computer or to iCloud. Then sync them to the new iPhone 5.
