The Mac formatted drive is an ok option but with 10.8, nether of my media players can access the files regardless of what I try because of the samba1 removal.
Is there a way to get round this?

Nov 9, 2012 10:56 PM in response to BDAquaby MIlls101,Hey,
Tried the SMBup solution. Not sure if I was doign it wrong, but it worked to the point where the folders on my mad HD were accessible, but external USB disks were not, which sort of made it no good for what I was doing.
Do you know if my issue is common, are was I doing it wrong?

Nov 10, 2012 5:08 PM in response to guifreby MIlls101,Looking at what I can find on the web and what I found in forums, I think if I'm going to find a NAS that works in my environment, I'm going to have to find one that can work with AFP sharing. Other than that, I'm always going to be up against one issue or another.
