I cannot find any of my pictures or videos on icloud

I had to replace my ipad and could not find any of my photo's on icloud. I now have a new ipad and when I log in I still don't see them and I have it turned on. I had thought about buying more space but see no need since it does not do what I need it for!

Did you have Photo Stream enabled on the older iPad?

Photos shot on the device are "pushed" to other devices and computers. They are stored for 30 days to give you enough time to download them.

You can't view your photos at icloud.com and videos are not uploaded to Photo Stream.
