downloading windows support software through boot camp

When i am in the boot camp assistant, it asks me to "download the windows support software for this Mac," however when I try to download it, i get a message that the windows software in not available. How do I make it avilable because I really need to split my hard drive.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8), Macbook Pro mid 2009

If you are running Snow Leopard as indicated in your profile, there are no downloads for the Support Software. The Support Software is on your Snow Leopard disk.

Start your own thread. Do not hijack someone else's. You have to determine which operating system you are running because the solution to your problem depends on it. Click on the Apple in your menu bar and select about this mac. Start a new thread and tell us what your issue is and what operating system you are using, and what you are trying to do.
