Q: Hi, I live in France and have set this as my location. I have set the language asEnglish. My iTunes accountis registered in England. When I try to down load apps , specifically iBooks, it tells me I cannot do this in France & the language is French pleas

I Live in France and have set the iPad location as France. The language is set as English .my iTunes account is registered in England.  When I enter the App Store the language is French and I cannot download iBooks . It says I cannot do this in France. Help please!

    By the terms of the iStores, you must be located in the country of the store that you want to use and you must have a credit card registered in that country, that is attached to a legal address within that country.

     

    Go to the iBookstore and swipe to the bottom of  the screen in the featured tab. Tap on your ID. Tap View Apple ID. Enter your password. Go to the Country/Region section and you can change to the UK store in there.

    As your iPad is located in France you can only use the French App Store.

     

    I use my Kindle when abroad as there are no such limitations.
