Songs names in Russian are read with surprisingly good quality, but not the albums. Is it a bug?
I do not know if it matters, but I run into this problem while listening to m4b files rather tham music. It is difficuls to navigate between russian audiobooks.

iPod shuffle
So if I understand you correctly, when the files are marked as or encoded in a music format such as m4a/mp3/etc., the Russian album names are read by VoiceOver without any problems?

I did not check other file types. I only use the iPod for audiobooks.
The English album names are read correctly, while the Russian are just muted/omitted.

I would be curious to see if VoiceOver had the same problem when reading back music album titles. Either way though it is likely a bug.
