Clock Unstable

Hi Gang

Issues with clock/date in perfectly fine older G5 1.8 SP. Resetting clock repeatedly - no go. My experience tells me, a battery replacement would help, (it's been about 5 years). http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1939?viewlocale=en_US < This may also help.

Have there been similar issues before? Not until/before I added additional good new RAM. Also fresh OS 10.4.11 - Brand New System Drive.

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379 < Don't think this is neccessary

Thanx

Mike

Replacement of a 5 year old battery is prudent.

Also, resetting the NVRAM can clear corrupt settings/data.

It's worth a try.
