How to change TextEdit default window size?

I'm not used to editing .plist files! Here's the contents of mine:

(I've blanked out the file ID stuff, of which there is a lot, but of what's remaining, where is the relevant part, what should it be changed to, and where should I edit it?)

Thanks BD. The problem is, how do I see the .plist file like you just posted? It looks like that in the Preview icon, but when I drag it to TextEdit, it's got a black background, so I 'Select All' to highlight it and it comes out looking like that code dump I pasted above.

How and where do I edit .plist files?

Unfortunately that needs an Intel Mac. I assume I cannot edit .plist files then? Oh well, it was worth an enquiry.

(The weird thing is - why does the plist look properly formatted in the Preview icon, but it is just a heap on a black background if opened in TextEdit?)
