This is really annoying me. I plug my earpods into my new iphone 5 and turn the volume up, the bar goes red and says "high volume" and it sounds really quiet! I thought it was just me being silly at first so I plugged them into my iphone 4 - perfect sound!
whats wrong with the iphone 5? how do I fix this? I work in a factory and like my music on loud to block out noise.

call it a blessing in discuise, you really don't want to get tinnitus by listening to high volume. I had it for a bit ad it was scary that it would never go away.
