viewing my laptop screen on apple tv

I have a MacBook Pro and just bought Apple TV. Upon set up is see that it easily links automatically with iTunes and will connect and play music. How do I set it up so I can use the computer and have it take over Apple TV? So I can see everything on my laptop on the TV.
