iPhoto 11 across devices

Hello,

I would like to use iPhoto on the cloud however my iPhoto is iPhoto 9 version 8.1.2 and can't be used with the cloud? I would also just generally like iPhoto 11.

I have purchased iPhoto for iPad and iPhone, at a cost $15. I recently ugraded to Mountain Lion at a cost of $20. Do I really need to pay out yet more money to get iPhoto 11 for my Macbook?

I would have thought the latest version of iPhoto was included in Mountain Lion. Please advise if I have to pay to upgrade.

Thank you.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), iPhoto 11

Sorry, yes, you will have to buy iPhoto '11 for your Mac.

The iLife applications are not part of the Mac OS, and the change from iPhoto '9 to '11 is a new release, not a free upgrade.

iPhoto on IOS (iPad, iPhone) is a completely different program, written for a different architecture, that will not be able to run on Mac OS X.

Léonie
