I have updated my iPad 2 to ios 6.0.1, but I am not able to activate the my Facetime and iMessage. It seem I did a mistake to by updating. Can any help me to solve this issue.

You're not the only one. Apple Care seemed to unaware... at the beginning of my call. But by the end they acknowledged that it is a network issue, not a device one.

I had the EXACT same problem and now its working. Ill tell u what i did. Connect your ipad to another wifi network. Go to your czns house or some other place, connect ur ipad to their wifi network and activate imessage over their wifi. My imessage and facetime activated in seconds when i connected the ipad to another wifi. I really hope this works for u, bcz it worked for me :)

I tried to do the same as you said but still the result is the same. Its showing me Username or password is incorrect. Thanks for you post but it seem that Apple Comunity don't care about this issue at all. It has been long time now. Its quite strange that #1 company is having problems like this due to which we are suffering. Please update me if any solution is there to this solve this problem.
I am having the same issue. Ipad 2, itouch 4g and my iphone 4s. Apple doesn't seem to care. No imessage, facetime, had to turn off wifi on my phone. Can't connect with the app store. WHERE"S 6.1 and a fix? UNACCEPTABLE APPLE
