Does anyone know of it's possible on the Presenter View to display the time remaining in an embedded video that is playing?
I suspect the answer is no but figured I would ask the collective. Thanks!

presenter screen cant do this, only the total for presentation
I use a countdown timer widget - you will find plenty if you google it
The only countdown widgets I can find are actual countdown timers. That's not what I need at all. I need to know how much time is left in a currently playing embedded video so I can cue the room lights at the right time. Right now you get zero on screen indication of progress for an embedded video that is playing and I find it hard to believe that when keynote is used by Apple they don't have a way inside of Keynote to tell how long is left in a video. Ten again hey probably play video through a media server and not through keynote :p

yes thats exactly what I use.
I set the timer for the duration of the video in minutes and seconds, when the video starts I click start on the timer and it will tell me in mins and seconds how long the play time remains.

Thanks, but that doesn't help me at all. I'll often have more than one video. Besides, I don't have time while giving a presentation (!!) to be fiddling with widgets and other stuff.
What a bummer... Time to fill out a feture request I guess.
