How do I delete unnecessary SMTP servers from iPhone 4S?

I want to delete the unnecessary SMTP servers from my email accounts but I don't see how. Thanks.

You can use nearly the same steps as above to either turn on or off, or to remove* an existing SMTP server, selecting the SMTP server you wish to adjust instead of selecting Add Server.

Thank you. It was interesting to read that you can NOT remove a server if it is being used by another account.

Why would you want to remove an SMTP server from the list of available SMTP servers that is being used by another account?
