I need help!!

Ok so my iPod is new from like last christmas, and 2 weeks ago my top button is jamed! So now i need to open my iPod with my home button.... Now everytime I click on a app like Google, I search something, then I click one of the sites but it goes on my home screen every time!! It's like that with another one of my texting apps 😟 I really need help to get this fixed now!!!
