iPhone 5 charger not working

hi,

I recieved my iPhone 5 on tuesday and today is sunday and already Ive found a fault..
The charger.
The cable will work in the laptop, so it will charge whilst plugged into the laptop
but the mains plug will not work
It not my plug because other things work fine in them
It my be the fuse? but i dont think you can change the fuse on these plugs (clever)

what other options do i have?

ring up orange or apple and recieve a new one? FOR FREE? cos im not paying..

does anyone else have this proble?
