I'm trying to add recently purchased (from iTunes) songs to my cardio playlist.

How can I download songs to my playlist? Getting error message, "iCloud playlists can only contain songs from your iCloud music library."

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)
