    I am not sure if this the answer you are looking for but i actualy found that some videos dont actualy play on youtube on the ipad due to the way the video has been uploaded.


    the message i got you cannot view this video this on this device due to the owner making it unviewable on mobile devices.

    Yeah, I know those videos. A message appears on them. It says that the video isn't available on mobile.


    What I'm talking about is, nothing even the player doesn't appear.


    So I can't play videos

    Are you still having this problem?  I had a similar problem  You may need to install either Adobe or a clik-to flash player that i can give you more information about if you are interested  Alternative would be to use Chrome as a second browser and play it there

    Ignore my above comment  I dont know enough about iPads> I just have a MacBook Pro.  Apparently you cant install flash players on iPads (?)    my Chrome comment may help...
