convert DAT video file

good day everyone

i have converted lots off video files and it work fine in my ipod...

but this video file (.dat) ... i cant convert it for use with my ipod

pls... anyone help me...

DAT files are data files, usually comma delimited, that contain data in ASCII format. These files are able to be open in a variety of programs including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Notepad."-definition from the wonderful worldwide interwebnet thingy

Are you sure it is a video?
Is it playable in quicktime?

Mate download "Videora iPod Converter" works like a charm, i use it when i rip my dvds, straight rips VCD/DVD blah blah u name it.

maybe it is but my only problem is installing the program bec it has a box that appeared when i try to install that and it says 1.you cancell the request. 2. internet not detected.....i did not cancell it.i just want to know if connection in internet is needed to install the said program?thanks.

yeah...its a video file

its from a VCD

it plays on windows media player,... not in quicktime

i havent tried dre's suggestion yet...

do try that and let everyone know if it works

hi, i was able to download the videora converter for ipod but i wasnt able to load the program in my computer.is it necessary that i have internet in order for me to install the program? pls help....

Does videora even support .dat files?
I can't tell, the videora website is useless-gives no actual information on format types, etc.

I'm out of ideas :-/

I don't really know any video converts for the iPod because I just purchase all of my videos from iTunes. The only video converters that I know is Videora and iTunes.
