my safari and itunes is not responding to my internet

i have a wndows computer but have been using itunes and safari ever since i got it. but just yesterday they both dont want to connect to the internet? i tried redownloading safari and itunes but that didnt fix the problem? i need help!!!

Are you getting an error message when you try to connect to the internet? If so, what does it say? (Precise text, please.)

If you're not getting any error messages, could you walk us through what happens when you try to connect to the internet?
