Rebuild iPhoto library? I have opened iPhoto with Command Option keys held down. I get the Photo Library First Aid window. When I hit the repair button for the repair permissions command, iPhoto opens and nothing else happens. What do I do now?

I want to reply to Terence Devlin's question but I don't know if this is the way. T.D. asks "What is the problem?

Two problems:

1. I can't find any of the photos I have down loaded from my camera to iPhoto since July.

2. Many duplicates keep showing up of old photos without my knowingly duplicating any.

Old Toad, my library has 2,533 photos.

I followed the link you suggested and got only the window you see. No information or actions.
