When starting my mac experience, I partitioned my hard drive with boot camp so I could run Windows. I upgraded to OS Lion and can now run Parallels. How do I change to the newer system

When starting my mac experience, I partitioned my hard drive with boot camp so I could run Windows. I upgraded to OS Lion and can now run Parallels. How do I change to the newer system?
