I can't purchase an app keeps asking me to verify payment information but checked my account and is fine

I can't purchase an app keeps asking me to verify payment information but checked my account and is fine. It keeps asking for my passwaord over and over and nothing happens. Please help.

Same here. Got to the point where I cancelled my old card and got a new one. Now new card isn't accepted as payment. Don't understand what is going on. Nothing wrong with card, used it only a few days ago on Amazon and Western Union. Just won't work with iTunes!!
