2 non-Thunderbolt displays on 2012 iMac

I am looking at purchasing the new iMac when it gets released. I know that there is limited info about it at this time. I am looking to get 2 monitors to go with my 21.5" model. I am not getting the Thunderbolt display (too expensive), so my question is will each thunderbolt port on the iMac support a monitor, or does the computer only support one external monitor?
